I think Youk will be a good player for the Yankees.

All kidding aside, I'll be rooting for him. If Damon could be accepted, it shouldn't be bad. After all, he'll be looking to stick it to the Sox, too!

I always liked Damon. I just hated that he was with the Red Sox at the time. Getting used to Youkilis will be a bit of a different animal, but he's welcome here anyway.

I never root for anybody, not even a red sox, to get injured, but the possibility of youk breaking down further and being on the dl early on is certainly not a remote one. It's, uh, interesting to imagine two of the guys who might have been booed the most in yankee Stadium over the past ten years both in pinstripes and on the dl and consuming 20 % of the payroll.
