Dickerson is not starting in the OF next year, but even if he somehow did, it would be insanity to play him in CF over Gardner

If Dickerson, Ichiro and Gardner are the everyday outfielders the Yankees are in big trouble. That is what? MAYBE a grand total of 25 homers and 150 rbi? That would be awful from your outfield production, why not call the Mets at that rate and get Jason Bay too ?

No I prefer runs, scoring runs and that line up is not going to score many. Jeter, Ichiro, Gardner and Dickerson would all be basically the same player. A-Rod is not exactly what he use to be but will give you atleast 25 and 80 but he may get hurt. Also you want to talk about winning? Please remember they were just one round away from getting to the World Series.

What is the fascination with Chris Dickerson? I just don't see it.

Here we have a player who has appeared in 258G over 5 seasons - he has a total of 11 HR and 48 RBI in those 258 games.

I have a feeling that there will be some shocking, unusual changes for next year. I wouldn't be surprised if the Yanks dump Nova, Swisher, and even Granderson. I also wouldn't be surprised if they somehow go after Hamilton even though he is a big risk and Bourn from Atlanta.

Melky is about the last thing this team needs. Pre-steroids, he was abysmal. He'd be cheap for a reason.

BTW - the Yankees are insane if they don't switch Granderson and Gardner next season defensively.
