I was of the thinking that the DH position against LH pitchers would be more difficult.
The Yankees will not be afforded the luxury of having a superstar DH or 4th outfielder this season (as it looks right now). Therefore, I think they'll play a 4th LH hitting outfielder and have the regular OFer DH for that day.

That someone you speak of might not exist. (without significant price)
It's my estimation, right now, that they'll try to fill the 4th OFer spot from within.

I think with Nick Johnson retired, the Yankees are going in the right decision if they are looking to sign the most oft-injured DH in baseball.
