Curious to see what the Mariners wind up giving up for Morse. Cashman's RH options are dwindling. Nevermind, I just saw. Yanks couldn't top that? Then again, Jaso is better than any catcher Yanks have right now.

I know your post was prior to the trade and players involved, but I'm not sure I'd call John Jaso "premium."

One way to look at it: It's another team out of the JUPTON derby. Rangers and Braves probably have the better prospects...but hey never know if the Yanks could sweeten the deal somehow.

I wouldve been willing to give the Nats something equavalent to Cole and Jaso combined and then some straight up for Morse...this off season sucks.
