i love the enthusiasm and confidence but being at that stadium during game 2 and the performance after last night, its really, reeeeeeeeeally hard to believe this series even gets back to the bronx

Bought my tickets just in case. If by some chance they make it not only will tickets not be available but prices will be unbelievably high on stubhub. If the games aren't played I get a refund.

Sorta like I bought the wild card play in game tickets just in case. Refunds for that came pretty quickly.

The WS tickets I bought are still in pending charges on my credit cards. Im expecting ticketmaster to pull back the charges instead of letting it hit my card and then having to issue a refund.

That would be nice but they'll probably put the charges through, sit on the money for two weeks and then issue the refunds.

I don't think the ends justify the means, especially when you consider the rakes taken by the credit card companies for transactions...

It took less than 24 hours after the final LCS game for me to receive an email from the team that money spent on LCS home games 3 and 4 will be refunded...

I expect a similar message WRT World Series Tickets to be the same...

Thank you for your recent purchase of tickets for the potential World Series games at Yankee Stadium. Because the Yankees did not advance to the 2012 World Series, World Series Game 3, 4 and 5 will not be played at Yankee Stadium.

If you purchased individual tickets to the above game(s) on the phone or online via yankees.com, you will receive a full refund from Ticketmaster. The refund will be issued as a credit to the credit card used for the purchase of the respective postseason tickets. Postseason tickets to Postseason games that are not played have no cash value and should not be returned to the Yankees.

And it took 15 days from the date of purchase to actually get the money in the case of the wildcard game. I expect the same for ALCS and World Series games
