On paper...this is a Yanks sweep. But the Orioles just have had lady luck on their side all year. I see a 5 game series that can go either way.

Haha... The O's fans in Texas are already starting the Yankees suck chants... I really hope we take them out. While its extremely infuriating that we start on the road, all we need to do is split the first two and be in fantastic shape for the rest of the series.

Reason being, Kuroda has been terrific at home and it gives him an extra days rest which he can probably use, also doesn't let Pettitte go too long without a start.

That makes the most sense. Pettitte can pitch anywhere and Kuroda has been great at home.
Orioles were 16-2 in extra inning games but both their loses were to the Yankees.

Definitely agree that should be the rotation, and I read that the Yankees might actually do the smart thing and line it up this way.

Really looking forward to this series. I respect Buck and I respect what this Orioles team is doing this year. Brings back memories of the early days of the 90's dynasty playing the Orioles in the playoffs again.

The 2-3 setup is real interesting, and I'm not a fan of it, but I don't mind starting on the road in Baltimore as much as I would in Texas, considering how well we usually play there and how short a commute it is.

I was thinking that too before the game. Can't believe Buck got away with using his 5th starter for the WC game.

That 6pm start may be in jeopardy... Baltimore is getting the same rain we are Sunday and the forecast calls for showers all day and into th Leo evening . Hope that changes...
