Re: NLDS: Washington Nationals vs. St. Louis Cardinals
Cards have always been my #2 team but I see the Nationals taking this series.

I love baseball in general and the Yankees just happen to be my favorite team since I knew what baseball was.

Re: NLDS: Washington Nationals vs. St. Louis Cardinals
I like the Nats but it's hard for me to take them seriously after shutting down their ace for the postseason. Thanks for protecting Strasburg so that he can pitch more years for the Yankees when he's a free agent

Re: NLDS: Washington Nationals vs. St. Louis Cardinals
Gonna hate to see either one lose, so will root for whichever one gets into a deficit, to come back for stirring upset.
And if that doesn't happen, will root for whomever the "experts" aren't favoring. He'll never get another milestone like that one. So what? His whole career is a milestone.

Re: NLDS: Washington Nationals vs. St. Louis Cardinals
One of the all time dumbest personnel moves in sports history. Ideally, he should have started pitching in June, but I can't really fault the the Nats for assuming they were going to be losers again and not sniff the playoffs. But when they were the best team in baseball half way through the season, they should have shut him down then and ramped him up again at the end of the year knowing his starts mean more in October than in July & August

Nats in 3. They're just too good.

Nats take an early 1-0 lead on a Kurt Suzuki single. Wainwright throwing a lot of curveballs.

Not sure why they're trying to be cute up there with Wainwright batting, just throw fastballs down the middle.

Wainwright must have thrown about 90% curves so far.

Re: NLDS: Washington Nationals vs. St. Louis Cardinals
Pretty crazy game. Both teams left a ton of runners on base. Nats take the game though and now it's theirs to lose.

Gonzalez is one of those guys who does not hide his emotions and I guess it took him a while to settle down.
Wainwright's curve was lethal. I can't recall anytime this season where Harper looked that bad. I'm going with 'da Nats in 4.September 28, 2008 - the day the HOF got a wake-up Moose call.
