Good interview with Lowe today on WFAN. It's funny how much more likeable he is to me after one 4 inning scoreless stretch.

I feel like a little kid again, I'm so excited to be playing for the Yankees. They've got a great bunch of guys here, and even when I was in Boston, I always had a lot of respect for the Yankees and their tradition. It's a thrill putting the pinstripes on for the first time, and I just want to do whatever I can to help the team win.

I assume he won't be available again until after the Rangers series, correct?

Bad outing exacerbated by bad luck.

Sadly enough, he was still better than Nova.

Could use another tick or two on the fastball but I liked the bite on his slider and sink on his sinker.

Lowe did a great job today keeping the team in the game and holding the jays scoreless for 1.2 innings while the Yanks rallied.

All things considered, he's been a decent pick-up. He's given the Yankees more than I thought he would.

I am beginning to trust him.

He may blow a big game. But at least he's trying to convince the Yankees to put him in that situation, unlike Nova.

I'd take a good look at his game log before issuing the trust. For example, what any pitcher accomplishes vs. the 2nd half Red Sox needs to be dismissed.
