    His OBP as a Yankee is .300 so he's improved it since the trade. It would be nice if he could get that up to .320 but I very much doubt that will happen.

    I thought when they traded for him he might just hit ~.300 if he was back in a penant race.

    I'm glad to see he is making zero waves about sitting against some lefties, hitting 7/8/9 most nights and occasionally being asked to play CF.

    I suspect all three of those are things he would not have been happy about in Seattle but I guess the Yanks talked to him about his role before the trade and he was cool with it.

    Happy it is working out so far and agree with the "More of that please"

    Agreed. Always felt that if he played good D and got on base above .320 he would be doing enough.
