    This is a pretty good read on Grantland about the history of the nation's first all-sports radio station. NY's own WFAN.

    Everyone who worked there at the time agrees that Imus was the single most important factor in the station's success and stability.

    Also, I had heard the story about Jim Lampley and the coffee cup before. One of the great all-time broadcasting feats.
