Re: 2012 Darnell McDonald performance thread
I just wish that Gardner would get healthy and put an end to all this Wise/Mcdonald nonsense.

Re: 2012 Darnell McDonald performance thread
wise has actually been serviceable and i understand why they brought in mcdonald. they might pick something up for the current series and having another right-handed hitter on the bench isn't a bad thing.

those dreads just look gross...although I wonder how he's going to feel about cutting them if he's released in a week.
seems like a really nice guy - hopefully he gets a few big hits this weekend.

Even worse is the stench, as they typically don't get washed very often.

His daughter Jiana is a little cutie. YES should give her a spot. Funny interview of Pedroia:

The first two balls he hit in play went to almost exactly the same spot.

Re: 2012 Darnell McDonald performance thread
Once again I ask, why did they pick him up? Is he here for just this weekend or do they see him replacing another outfielder? I feel sorry for him if they release him next week.....don't forget he had to cut his hair.

Re: 2012 Darnell McDonald performance thread
He may find it's more comfortable in the summertime with less hair on your head. Who knows? He may end up thinking that landing on the Yankees for a weekend was the best thing that ever happened to him.

This is working out about as successfully as when the Yankees picked up Alan Embry from the Sox several years ago.
