Re: July 2012 Minor League Thread
that, plus they might be looking to see what they have with this kid quick, as the ML outfield will soon be in flux
either that, or they plan on trading some of their lower level OF's soon, and having refsnyder start out in full season ball would put him in a better position to fill in those roster gaps next year

Jose Ramirez and Branden Pinder combined on a 7 inning no-hitter; Ramirez pitched 6, walked 1, hit 2, K'ed 7.

We have a Austin Romine sighting in the GCL. He lives.....
Cashman told Accorsi, “I feel the responsibility of millions of Yankee fans on my shoulders, fans who take this very seriously and for which every game is very important. I think of that every day.”

Re: July 2012 Minor League Thread
Heathcott, Williams and Sanchez didn't look too great in Tampa today.
The St. Lucie Mets ran all over Sanchez. IIRC, they were 3/3 on the basepaths.
But, on the bright side, I got Williams', Sanchez's, Heathcott's, Sojo's and Kyle Higashioka's autographs."Never, never, never quit."-Winston Churchill.

Re: July 2012 Minor League Thread
Is there a reason why Mark Montgomery is still in A ball? Aren't guys like that (insane K/9 types) supposed to be moving up the ladder fairly quickly?
