that, plus they might be looking to see what they have with this kid quick, as the ML outfield will soon be in flux

either that, or they plan on trading some of their lower level OF's soon, and having refsnyder start out in full season ball would put him in a better position to fill in those roster gaps next year

Even though he played the outfield last night, they're converting him to 2nd base. It might not happen until Fall Instructs, but it's going to happen unless they changed their mind and think his bat can play as an outfielder.
Okay Hal and Brian, I might be a sucker, but you got 3 more years to fix it!

Jose Ramirez and Branden Pinder combined on a 7 inning no-hitter; Ramirez pitched 6, walked 1, hit 2, K'ed 7.

We have a Austin Romine sighting in the GCL. He lives.....

Heathcott, Williams and Sanchez didn't look too great in Tampa today.

The St. Lucie Mets ran all over Sanchez. IIRC, they were 3/3 on the basepaths.

But, on the bright side, I got Williams', Sanchez's, Heathcott's, Sojo's and Kyle Higashioka's autographs.

Is there a reason why Mark Montgomery is still in A ball? Aren't guys like that (insane K/9 types) supposed to be moving up the ladder fairly quickly?
