Thanks for that. Baseball back then was a lot different to how it is now.
Though I must admit I found the Star Wars music pretty random.

Thanks for taking me back. Felt like I was 10 years old again. Nothing like that team, the drama or that comeback. Unmatched cast of characters.

The 1961, 1978 & 1996 were the best baseball seasons I've ever witnessed. Of course, in my Yankee bias.
Roger Maris = single season "natural" home-run record-holder.

Not a good job out of you. A GREAT job out of you.
I was in second grade in 1978. On Monday, october 2, my father unexpectedly walked into my class, whispered something to my teacher, pointed at me and told me to get my stuff. We went home and watched the game on a little 17 inch black and white tv.
Yankee fan for life after that...
