Pitching change proposal #1 - K bonus

I would be willing to reconsider my vote on this. If we keep the K penalty for batters at .5 then a .5 bonus for pitchers seems reasonable.....this way you aren't raking points when you strike out one of your own guys.

Yes, the K penalty for batters is still 0.5

So right now if my pitcher strikes out my hitter I get +2 for the K, -0.5 for the Batter K, for a +1.5
Dropping the bonus to 0.5 means I get 1.5 for the K, -0.5 for the Batter K, or a net of +1, which is the same net as if the pitcher induced a ground out or fly out from my batter.

I was just thinking rather than reading all the propoganda.

In the other league I am in it is relatively balanced and it really works well - it allows for more strategy when you are drafting this way.

How does everyone feel about not exploring any other major scoring changes so we do not shock the scoring system? I say we give it a year and see what happens. Agreed?
