I'm guessing he's basing that off their performance with RISP.

Re: Francisco calls Yankees "a bunch of chickens"
Those Mets are just so funny.

In the wake of Frank Francisco's comments about the Yankees being chickens, practical joker Tim Byrdak apparently decided to have some fun.
Byrdak revealed via Twitter that he bought a live chicken in Chinatown. He then shared video of the bird inside the Mets' clubhouse at Citi Field. He confirmed to ESPNNewYork.com the authenticity of his practical joke.
Of course, Byrdak now needs to find a home for the chicken.
"Does anyone live on a farm that could take a chicken off my hands?" Byrdak pleaded. "Don't want to see him get whacked. Please help."

Re: Francisco calls Yankees "a bunch of chickens"
So what do you call a team that loses 5 out of 6 games to a bunch of chickens?

I am so glad the games are over. Enough about Dickey and chickens. Now we can move on to serious business. Although I did get a kick out of that fan with the "Dickey is Sickey" t-shirt on. He could not have been a bigger tool on national television. I thank him for the entertainment. I wish there was an avi of it so I can post it whenever someone is being a tool.

Re: Francisco calls Yankees "a bunch of chickens"
I understand competitiveness, and maybe he was trying to fire up his team. But by my measuring stick, this stupid comment was unprofessional. I hate that, and personally have no respect for it.
