He can hit lefties but I think he would have problems facing righties on a regular basis. He pretty much just sits fastball.

I am concerned that Andruw is a lollygagger. He lollygaggs to first. He lollygags in left. For example, Tex is much slower but Tex beats out a double play. On the same type of grounder Jones is apt to lollygag. I would prefer if he did not lollygag.

If he wasn't a lollygagger, he'd still be an all star, gold glove CFer on some other team. We are actually lucky he has fallen into his lollygagging ways.

Agree. Had this guy worked liked Jeter or Alex over the last decade, he'd be considered one of the all time great and discussed alongside the very elite of the game. He'd have picked up an insane amount of money, hit 550 home runs and won 13 gold gloves.

It's what Andruw Jones is. A supremely talented underachiever who's made it no secret he doesn't care about becoming an all time great or the highest paid player in MLB.

I'd attribute a good portion of his downfall to his discontinuing using "the cream" and "flaxseed." Before and after pics tell the story. And yeah, he does appear to lollygag out there as well.

Quite frankly, I wish he would pull a Crawford and tell Joe he can't play b/c the medical staff said no.
