I'm sorry, but I would take Greinke and Haren over Hughes and Nova in a heartbeat.

The numbers do reflect that the Yankees' pitching is not nearly as bad as some think. Point taken. If Pettitte is able to return strong, it definitely changes the complexion of a post-season rotation, I agree. But, in a series, I still think the LAAAAAA have a deeper rotation.
So would every other sane person. I can't believe this even became a debate.

When ranking dUMB+ and xLOL, I'd take this thread over most barring the 2012 SOSH game threads.

Then again, this might be disrespectful.

Obviously small sample size, but Ryan Dempster is not looking so great in the AL.

Fortunately, his lone good AL outing was against the Saux.

I don't even know what his peripherals were. Was his ERA more luck based?

His BABIP was a little low at .260 but I think he was having a career year in a poor division and now he's having to face, you know, good teams.

xFIP is usually around the high 3's-low 4's. He's nowhere near as good as his numbers indicate. He's also a year removed from a 81 ERA+ season.
