I think with Teix going down too, there's a better chance that the yankees make a move for a guy like Headley.

For what it's worth (not much) Headley has played 2 games at 1b in his career, so it wouldn't be completely out of the question for him to be a depth option at that position as well.

With the amount of room the Yanks have in first, I don't see Cashman making a move like that. Other teams will try to raise the price on him, and he really doesn't have to make a move.

I will say that I'm a little concerned about the rotation. I don't trust Nova and Hughes in pressure packed situation. I think the Yanks need one more experienced starter.

Ummm..until it's official, let's wait and see.

I have my doubts.

I think the Giants are still feeling the sting from the Beltran trade last year.

They gave the Mets their best pitching prospect and got little in return.
