i'm a complete idiot when it comes to knowing anything about drugs - could a perfectly normal person do bath salts and do something like that or do you have to be effed up before that?

I would say they have to be pretty messed up beforehand. Acting crazy is one thing but eating someone's face off is a whole different ballgame.

btw the absolute worst thing I've seen is the crime scene photos of the girl who killed herself in a tub. Like I've seen tons of pictures of corpses but this one was truly terrifying and not just gross. She was really pretty while alive too, makes you think about what we become after death.

I don't do it myself I just can't see that stuff. I won't even look at the pics and video of this incident. But I think it's because most are so numb to horrible things that in order to get a reaction or actually shake people they have to see the actual evidence. I'm a huge horror fan as you know but I can't stomach the real stuff so I don't go searching for that stuff, but I do understand how some do. The news is just horrifying and yet we all usually shrug it off as if it's nothing many times. Or we may have a small emotional response and then move about our day. Maybe some just need to see the entire thing before it matters to them. Or others get off on it. Like Sam.

Authorities say a Maryland man has been charged with first-degree murder after parts of a human body were found in his home.

The Harford County Sheriff`s Office says 21-year-old Alexander Kinyua was arrested Wednesday, days after a man whom he lived with went missing. Police say they found the body parts while searching the townhome in Joppatowne. Police also found body parts in a nearby trash container.

Kinyua admitted to eating the victim`s heart and part of his brain. A sheriff`s spokeswoman, says the body parts found in the home had yet to be identified by the chief medical examiner late Wednesday.

Authorities believe they are those of the missing man, 37-year-old Kujoe Bonsafo Agyei-Kodie.

The victim in the Canada body parts case was a Chinese student studying at Concordia University in Montreal who was in a relationship with Luka Rocco Magnotta, the wanted fugitive and chief suspect in the case.
Police confirmed to the French language La Presse newspaper late Thursday that 33-year-old Lin Jun -- from the eastern Chinese city of Wuhan -- is the victim in the case, as the search for 29-year-old Magnotta went global amid reports he had fled to France.

The consulate is now working to notify Lin's family in China to advise them of the case. Police also sought the help of Interpol on Thursday amid reports Magnotta -- a former stripper and porn actor -- had boarded a plane to France.


He is accused of posting a hand and a foot to the Conservative Party headquarters and the Liberal Party headquarters in Ottawa.

It also appears to show cannibalism and sexual acts carried out upon the corpse. The 10-minute-long video attracted 300,000 hits in just four hours on Thursday.
