He's been in every game this year. I know we really miss Gardner, but not getting any break might affect Curtis later in the year. Girardi is so careful w/ the pen and older players, it's kinda odd he doesn't give Granderson any time off

Looking @ career totals- at least 5-6 per year

Wise has been hot @ the plate, giving Granderson a few days off isn't a bad idea- especially during the hot weather time of year

With a 6 game (at the time) lead and Swish hurting, I would have put Swish on the DL and kept Wise around another 10 days. You never know what can happen in 10 days & I'd rather get Nick completely healed.
