For sure - this west coast swing has been brutal. I saw a stat before yesterday's game that the Yankees had given up 21 runs and scored 21 on this trip. Glad to get the heck outta Dodge before somebody else ended up on the DL.

Actually think this guy is worth his place on the roster. Always like having a guy who can play the infielder and outfield.

The fact that no one ever comes to this thread is a tribute to Nix's consistency. He gloves anything that he can reach. That's a lot more than can be said about Scissorhands.

And, he has proven to not be an automatic out. ... a good job all around for a utility man.
