I remember reading their Board of Health inspection reports a few times and they were pretty horrifying. No skin off my tuckus if they're gone.
Rocking that "arrogant Yankee fan" attitude.

I never followed the restaurant. I remember that the owners asked The Mick forr permission to use his name, which he ggave. From there, I remember Scooter & Bill White would broadcast the games from there. I have no idea how, since I thought you had to be at the game to do a radio broadcast.

I ate there once a few years ago. Calling it a "restaurant" is generous. Really just a glorified sports bar with lots of greasy food, burgers and fries, fish & chips, etc. No disrespect to the memory of the Mick, but it's no loss if they close the place.

the last time I was there, Mickey was there, slightly toasted. My friend was terrified but i went up to him and he shook my hand and signed a post card from the restaurant for me.

There will be lawyers and motions and injunctions, etc... until they work out who owns what, which will take forever. Appel and the people who have 'loaned' their stuff for display will get it back. Then Steiner will buy everything else and offer it to the fans with a genuine certificate of authenticity...
