Hi all!

Since I can't seem to start a thread in any other part of the forum but here, I'll just plonk this here.

This may be a total n00b dork question, but ...

I am coming to New York (my first ever trip to America) and going to see a Yankees game in June. I was wanting to get a shirt to wear to the game, and some other Yankee stuff for mates back home. I would assume that there is a merchandise store at the stadium but that it would be pretty bloody busy come game day. I was wondering where another good place to pick up merchandise in NY is? I am staying on 46th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue.

Go to either the Yankee Clubhouse store at 42nd St between Broadway and 8th, or the Modell's across the street (facing the Yankee store).

There's also the Stan's stores across the street from Yankee Stadium. I haven't been down there in awhile, but that should still be open.

There's another Yankee Clubhouse store at 46th & Broadway, which is closer to you.

No problem. If you wish to wait, you can get it while there. You'll no doubt be sightseeing, so please check the various places, such as Modell's and Sports Authority.

check out Bald Vinny's T-shirts, you can make purchases online, or stop by his stand posted outside the stadium on river ave. during every home game. He has a great selection of some great yankee fan gear, ranging from players shirts, anti-boston shirts, and bleachers gear.
