Re: 2012 Season Ticket Licensee Social at Yankee Stadium
This is their desperate attempt to woo in "new money". It is working to some extend but it draws more irritation from those who have cancelled their season package(s).
Different people have different reasons for having season tickets but to the Yankees - it is all about the mighty dollar.
Now that they see the positive effect it has - they will continue to milk the cow or throwing some fresh bait on the hook as one might says. This is from having a conversation with the "inside" people. And my reply, if that works, I guess it is true "A sucker born every minute"It's never about what you know, it's who you know ..... and who's willing to help you to get where you want to be.

Re: 2012 Season Ticket Licensee Social at Yankee Stadium
Having not been invited to this round, I asked my season ticket rep about future events. Here is his reply:
Thanks for reaching out. We may have some more events throughout the year. You will receive an email with any future events.
Thanks,
Mario

Re: 2012 Season Ticket Licensee Social at Yankee Stadium
let me add gasoline to the fire.
There are a couple members on here who DID not take advantage of the survey and social event.
You know who you are! hahaha
People in here are not happy of you wasting those Field MVP vouchers, hotdog and especially the batting practice on the field!
I guess when the wave of invites come around, everyone will sign up and hoping to get the same deal - the vouchers and the food will be there, but the batting practice would have to depend on the Yankees are home or on the road!
Damn it, I just want to run to first base .... slide to second base for steal ... (be like Damon) and steal third ... then ran home, sliding head first under the tag of the catcher!
Now that would make me keep my season ticket package! (So Yankees Office people who are active members of this forum, pass on the words and make it happens)It's never about what you know, it's who you know ..... and who's willing to help you to get where you want to be.

Re: 2012 Season Ticket Licensee Social at Yankee Stadium
So how does one get such a friend? Personally, I am getting fed up with having to resort to these types of relationships and under-the-table transactions to get good service. I am also quite annoyed that the reps routinely provide non-policy service and transactions.
BTW - looks like that's it for the current cycle of Socials . . .

Had the Delta freebies along with parking pass - not digging it since there were no food included.
So, I request "Audi" --- sure enough, got myself a pair.
Yay to FREE FOOD - not stadium food ... but edible food. It's never about what you know, it's who you know ..... and who's willing to help you to get where you want to be.
