Re: A Perfect Game!!!
Phillip Humber got the win. Two pinch hitters made a flyout and a whiff. Humber's first win of the season and 21st Perfecto in MLB history.

Re: A Perfect Game!!!
Well, for better or worse, they did get Johan Santana in return.

I think the Muts have more ex-teammates throw Perfectos or no-no's than anyone else. Ryan, Cone, Gooden.Dr King (1929-68): Make the Dream a Reality.

Re: A Perfect Game!!!
Pretty sure if that last batter runs out the dropped third strike, instead of arguing with the ump, would have been safe at first.

Re: A Perfect Game!!!
The best part about it was not having to listen to the Chicago announcers call it.
In Cashman I trust.

Re: A Perfect Game!!!
Coming back from 9-0 has to be the offensive equivalent of a perfect game, so two perfect games in one day.
"We understand that John Henry must be embarrassed, frustrated and disappointed by his failure in this transaction. Unlike the Yankees, he chose not to go the extra distance for his fans in Boston."

Re: A Perfect Game!!!
Perfect game, big deal. Why did they have to interrupt the Yankee game for it? I missed seeing the beginning of the big rally in the seventh inning, including Swisher's grand slam!
Beating the Red Sox after they being down 9-0 after five is worth three perfect games by any non-Yankee. I hate Fox.

Re: A Perfect Game!!!
odd way to end a perfect game but it's recorded, so congrats to Humber.
I am so sick of the commercial but thought Verlander's tweet to humber was funny:
Justin Verlander @JustinVerlander
Congrats to @Philip_Humber! 21st perfect game in history. Guess @KateUpton will let him in the perfect club now. I'm still out! Lol“Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.”
