At least he can draw a walk or beat out an infield grounder or lay down a bunt.
Granderson can't do anything. You've seen his stats for the 4 games right?
If you want to PH for Gardy later in the game (if the situation calls for the long ball) and hope Grandy can strike lightning, then fine.

My point isn't that I think it's even likely that he's going to do anything. It's that Gardner himself said he's basically in March shape at the end of the year, and he hasn't played really since then. It's a lot to ask him to step into a pivotal playoff game and produce.

I thought that Granderson should sit and I'm glad that I was wrong. That run turned out to be big when you consider what happened in the 8th inning as it gave CC/Yankees much needed breathing room.
