I imagine that a lot of stuff that was shocking 40 years ago isn't anymore. Then again, it wasn't as shocking 40 years ago as some people tried to make it out to be. (Mickey Mantle climbing around on hotel roofs as a Peeping Tom? Sure.) And a lot of the stuff that was funny then will still be funny now - Joe Pepitone and the popcorn.

I've been getting into deep stats and analytics. So as for baseball books it's mainly research and learning how to truly evaluate players based on their skills. Very cool.
