How did the YES vote have Jeter as the winner?

The real reason why the Yankees keep winning is cause the other team can't stop staring at the damn pinstripes

Jeter at least had a very good game. What I think is ridiculous is that Martin was a candidate on YES when he was 1-for-3 at that time and Wieters was 3-for-3 with a single, double, and home run at that time. I know the Yankees won, and I'm not saying Wieters should have been Player of the Game, but he should certainly have been one of the candidates.

Jeter had a perfect night. Nova did a fantastic Houdini impersonation, but it was a bit of a high-wire act.

Also, Derek Jeter is extremely popular.

    Those polls are such FBS....
Like - if the Yankees are losing by a run, in the 7th and they post the poll in the 7th, who's to say someone that's not on the list comes up for the Yankees in the 9th and hits a walk off homer?

It's just more annoying filler that has nothing to do with baseball, really.

I'll tell ya though, I'd pay a little extra for a network that broadcast the live feed of the games. I don't have to listen to Kay's bullsh*t, no commerical feces, no sponsored pitches.... Just baseball.
