He is having a disastrous year in the minors, just like had last year. Much worse than Hughes.

Yep, 1-3 with a 9.87 ERA and a 1.96 WHIP are the stats of a savior. Bring Andrew Brackman back, Cashman - make it happen.

Well, I was wrong. I thought nunez would do much better in the outfield then infield. And as much as I love Hughes, I think we should put him to bed also. We've got to get another starting pitcher.

It's not a fair assessment. He's had way more experience as an infielder and isn't good at it, but even though he looks rough in the outfield you tell by a few good plays he's made that logging a bunch of innings out there should make him serviceable...he has the speed and the athleticism, he just has no experience. Like others have said though, get the experience in AAA, not here.
