Re: Opening Day at Yankee Stadium
There were three couples sitting directly to the right of me. They weren't older than 18 and between them they didn't watch 18 pitches. Two of the girls spent the first two innings posting on Facebook saying they were at the game. The six of them constantly swapped places. After that, one of the boys starting calling for random guys to take their shirts off which was apparently hilarious. My better half thought I was gonna smack one of them in th face after he lost any concept of personal space, almost sat on my lap twice and bumped my arm half a dozen times when I was drinking and never so much as acknowledged his actions, let alone apologised. Given that I took out two guys at the airport last week for less, she was relieved I didn't react.

Despite all of this, we had a really good time. Good seats. Am glad we weren't in the sun - my bald head would have roasted. Kuroda pitched really well and the game was pretty straight forward. Still haven't attend a game in which Mo has pitched but you can never be disappointed with a win, homeruns and a very good pitching performance.Bring tea for the Tillerman; Steak for the son; Wine for the woman

Re: Opening Day at Yankee Stadium
I really liked how jorge's former teammates stood behind him for that, also that his dad was catching...a really nice tribute to a great player.
I'd like to thank the good Lord for making me a Yankee fan

Re: Opening Day at Yankee Stadium
Michael Kay met Cardinal Dolan at the Yankee dinner and someone asked him if he always wanted to be a Cardinal, and he said; "Yes, I always wanted to be Stan Musial"

He grew up in St. Louis
