Re: Concerned about Mo
Your thread has nothing to do with Rivera...it's about "Look at me! Look at me!"
Especially since there is a performance thread for him.Oh man....

Re: Concerned about Mo
I'm concerned as well. Mo should be setting up for Robertson.

Re: Concerned about Mo
Mo is human. He converts saves. He blows saves.
He'll bounce back.

Re: Concerned about Mo
I certainly do not want to make a big deal about one game, but my thoughts are he is 42 years old and no one lasts forever. If you listen to Michael Kay, he acts like Rivera will go on forever.
Again, I want to stress I am not basing this thought on today's game, it is just a fact that he is now in his early 40s.

Re: Concerned about Mo
I just hope that this doesn't become a habit, and he doesn't decide to pack his bags come june or july. I believe jeet said when mo spoke with him he said if he wasn't feeling his old self that ending the season early wasn't out of the question.
I'd like to thank the good Lord for making me a Yankee fan

Re: Concerned about Mo
Serves him right for showing up late to spring training. Lazy bum.
David Ortiz tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in 2003.

Re: Concerned about Mo
The first thing I thought of after the Pena hit was how long it would take for someone to create this thread. I'm just glad it was jovial and not serious.

Re: Concerned about Mo
People think this guy is a HOF'er? The guy responsible for the blown save which left the Yankees WINLESS.
Concerned is an understatement.Twenty Seven and Counting.
