He has become of of my favourite Yankees. While I recognise that he may well become too expensive if he keeps this up, I really hope we keep him beyond his first few free agency years. We'll lose Mo soon and will need plenty of good arms to make up for that - not that you can, of course.

We still have a few years of control left, plus with Soriano coming off the books in a couple of years, and (presumably) having a cheaper closer, we should be able to find some money to pay for DRob.

Sure. My one concern is that he still walks to many and that rarely is a something a reliever can consistently overcome. Nevertheless, his effectiveness and value cannot be ignored. I don't think he'll ever become our closer due to the walks but he could well remain very good as a seventh and eight inning fireman.

Got it done again last night, albeit not a 1-2-3 inning. His pitches were really fizzing again and once again, he got the first two guys out. They're went down in seven pitches before he needed another 15 to get the last out.

Love watching him pitch.
