    God no.

99% of the time when people want to fire the manager they have, they don't have a better option in mind. And if they did, it wouldn't be Dusty Baker.

Cano? I liked his AB where he took ball one, then swung and missed (or foulded off) ball 2, ball 3 & ball 4. For a K on consecutive pitches. But overall I'm not worried about Robbie guy can go beastly at any momment.

With the way Cano has been looking at the plate, they don't need to walk him.

Awful job letting Hughes pitch to McLouth. Four scoreless innings, but his command is some of the worst I've seen.

Re: 2012 Joe Girardi Performance Thread

Your idea was to replace Hughes in the 4th inning of a scoreless game so he didn't have to face Nate McLouth? What?

Re: 2012 Joe Girardi Performance Thread

Hughes looked horrible today. He got away with so many pitches up and out over the plate.

It ended up working out for the better, but he did not look good at all.

When was the last time he pitched?

I dont know that a time has come where you really needed your 3rd best right hander?

2 pinch hit opportunities for Ibanez there and he doesn't take either of them.

Alex looked good up until that AB....Swisher on the other hand, its amazing how he skates under the radar.

I'm assuming you wanted him to pinch hit Ibanez for ARod since you're calling him gutless, but did you forget 1B was open and they'd IBB walk him to get to Swisher? You probably had this pretyped and hit 'post' on instinct so I forgive you.

To Swisher's credit, he did hit a fly ball deep enough to score the run from third.

How don't you pinch hit Ibaņez? I am 100% certain that Ibaņez would have at least made contact, and all that was needed in that situation is a fly ball or even a grounder. O'day has owned Alex this whole series. I don't think Alex has made any contact off him. It was a no brainer, and it's a darn shame Joe considered A-rod's feelings over winning the game.

At this point I would pinch hit Gardner for ARod.

I would refer to you as a "Girardi ball washer" if I actually believed Girardi had balls. No offense otherwise.

My posting history in this thread says the exact opposite, actually. Yours on the other hand involves questioning his guts based on the fact that he had to wear braces so his daughter could; either you're five-years old, a bad troll, or both.
