Figured it'd be too soon for a Joba performance thread but this is encouraging news. It's pretty remarkable to think that it's even possible to bring him back this season. Good luck Joba.

This bullpen is just so laughable. Outside of Soriano and Robertson, I don't trust anyone.

Yea, looks like the plan is to limp into October with the current bunch and just dump Phelps and Nova in there. They could have desperately used a reliever before the deadline, but Cashman putting his eggs in Joba's basket was a bad move.

Whats ironic about that, is I think most of us knew that would be a bad move. Unfortunately the guy actually running the team didnt think so.

I was fooled as I honestly thought that Joba's return would only be a benefit to the Yankees and that the Yankees did not need any outside help via a trade. Could not have been anymore wrong on my part.
