Is it too early to hang the campos poster over my bed?

re: betances. at what point does "has to learn how to repeat his delivery" just become "bad command with inconsistent secondary pitches?" I'm sure I'm overly negative, but he just seems like a journeyman middle reliever to me who will have flashes of brilliance.

off-topic:everyone should have a look at what dylan bundy is doing.

he has bad command because of his delivery, which will never be able to be fixed. what they need to do is have him focus on keeping it for an inning as opposed to 5-6. there isnt anything inconsistent about his secondaries that every other pitcher doesnt go through, he simply will never be able to throw his pitches for strikes consistently over 6 innings because his delivery is simply bad.


he can still be an elite reliever, though the command will probably keep him from being an elite closer

Bundy is no doubt a monster, but BMore started him way too low in the SAL. He should have at least began in A+ with an eye on a quick move up the ladder. I'm sure he'll move fast anyway, but there's no competition where he's currently at.
