Justin Verlander carried the Tigers to a 6-2 win over the Royals.

But Adam Dunn kept the White Sox on top of the AL Central with a 5-4 come-from-behind win over the Indians.

Dunn hit two bombs including his three-run Jimmy Jack when the White Sox were trailing 4-2 in the 8th and two outs.

WSox lose to Cle 4-3 despite hitting 3 evil solo homers. Just a 1/2 game up on Det. Between the two I'd much rather have Chicago win the central then Detroit though best case might be a tie where Verlander goes against Sale in game 163.

If they ask who was our star, give them 25 names, and if you forget our names, just tell them we were Yankees.

It's 3-2 now in the top of the 5th. Not that I have any belief the Sox will pull this game out.

I have a hard time rooting for Boston even if it means Yankees inching closer to the division title.

As much as I hate rooting for the Sox if they can pull off a win tonight that would make my day.
