The last offensive inning for the winning team in a perfect game is always such a drag.

He looks like he could go four more....

That was probably the most dominant game I've seen since late 90s Pedro. Wow.

Congratulations on a very impressive perfecto, at least these last four that I saw. Wow!

I only saw the 9th... and it was like the Rays were high school hitters. Was that as dominant as it looked at the end?

It amazes me how he pitches so well wearing long sleeves on warm days. It was only 80 to 84°F today, but wearing those black sleeves in the sun and having the pressure of pitching perfect must make it feel like close to 100

Yeah--33 pitches in the ninth, 3 runs on four hits including a HR and a walk and he sends him out for the 10th.
I think Valentine is trying to get fired.
EDIT: Bobby finally pulled him after giving up a leadoff, go-ahead HR then a single in the tenth. Breslow comes in and promptly gives up an RBI double.27 World Championships

Re: The Official 2012 Watching The Scoreboard Thread
Might be the wrong thread, but watching the Cards vs Reds on MLB Network after the Yanks game tonight, and it's awesome to listen to Bob Costas do baseball. NBC has to somehow get baseball rights back, especially the post season. Maybe have Fox do the playoffs for one league, and NBC for the other.
