Right-hander Luis Mendoza won a spot in the rotation, in part, because he compiled a 0.54 ERA in five starts. That should ensure him of the spring ERA title, too, since the closest competitor in either league is former Royal Zack Greinke, now with the Brewers, who is at 0.93.
Mendoza is also the only pitcher in either league with four victories, though nine pitchers, including Royals right-hander Luke Hochevar, entered Friday with three victories.

We can't GIVE someone eligibility. We can only manually move them to a SP or RP spot in the active lineup.
