Wang got injured. When he came back, his injury was exacerbated because the Yankee staff handled him poorly. Now he's a broken Wang.

Nova is a nice pitcher. Let's hold off on the coronation. He's a league average pitcher. (3.80 being the MLB avg right now)

    Robertson....is the only success.

So right now Mo and Robertson. That's pretty good, huh? 2 guys in 20 years? Quality stuff.

The Rays are crapping out starters like they are the matriarch Alien from Aliens 2 and all of them are killers. (Ok...a little exaggeration here, but you get the point)
Twenty years is a long time to talk about the current roster. The likelihood that a player has a twenty-year career is astronomically low; and to stay on the same team in this day and age is far lower.

That said, three. Pettitte is on the way.

After Phil throws up on the mound, do they send a scout to Mexico to find an eccentric American pitcher?

That's the plan, although you have to wonder how many pitches he can throw with the bullpen mentality. If it doesn't work then he'll have to try the bullpen mentality from the bullpen next time out. Hope he doesn't get hurt in the process.
    Let the kids play.

Curve looks better than it's been in a while. He just can't locate for love or for money.
40 pitchers, ever, have an ERA+ of 130 or higher for their career. 15 have 140 or higher. 3 guys have 150 or higher - one is right at 150, the second place guy is at 154, and Mariano Rivera is at 205.

Could have had Jair Jurrjens in that trade. Another example of the Yankees inability to evaluate talent properly.

Yes. The one that has a 10 WAR in his career compared to Humberto Sanchez who has a 0 WAR and was last seen pitching in Japan.
