Good luck in 2012 A-Rod!

I still say he's the most important bat on the Yankees. The Yankees need him staying healthy.

Re: 2012 Alex Rodriguez Performance Thread
really needs to have 600 PA this year. needs to getted DH once a week along with other days off. his power will be vital. that said, tex must also step up. that BA is just too low.

What's this new diet regimen he has that I've been hearing about?

Good to read about this. But on Friday morning, hours before they’d open their spring schedule against the University of South Florida and start all over again, sources said Rodriguez commanded the room for more than 10 minutes like he never had before.
“It was great,” said one witness. “I’d never seen that out of him before. I didn’t know he had it in him.”
snip
Rodriguez wouldn’t talk about his speech, or confirm he even gave one.
According to those in the clubhouse, however, Rodriguez talked about being “all in.” He advised them that, on that subject, there was only black or white, “no gray.” He said each of them – from the biggest superstar to the last guy on the 40-man – knew what “all in” meant. They’d had to have been “all in” just to sit in that room, to make it this far. And that every man knew exactly what his “all in” amounted to, in work ethic and dedication and sacrifice. He asked them to find that within them, to bring it every day, all season long, for the good of the Yankees. For the good of themselves.
“Amazing,” a witness said. “The guys were drawn to him.”
He certainly looks great in today's ST game.

Re: 2012 Alex Rodriguez Performance Thread
Hey guys, here we go again I agree with your opinions, Alex will make or break us that much we know for sure. The thing is he plays the field so hard an it's only a matter of time before he starts diving for balls, all we can do is hope. If he's healthy we all know what he can do, so I'm once again with you guys my fingers are crossed...

Re: 2012 Alex Rodriguez Performance Thread
Hey guys & gals, nothing to interesting. Looks like Alex is trying to pull everything, but hitting the ball as hard an deep as ever, still not yet consistent. Guess what???
Another Baseball season is right around the corner my friends, last season was my first with all of you an I think that debating with such deep intelligent, opinionated sometimes abstract longtime fans has made watching baseball a whole new experience.
I think that I missed you guys almost as much as you missed me, how about that my friends? By the way could you please get with the NY Rangers because they're looking like they can make some noise down the road in the playoffs... They're not getting pushed around this Hockey season like last, and Lundqvist seems to be slowly regaining his mid-season form.
OK, I know enough about hockey, still I know that most of you Yankee fans are also NY Giant, and NY Ranger fans. Or am I all alone?? Be back as soon as you hear play ball, unless something major happens with the Yanks before then....

Looked really, really good today.
Turned on two pitches on the inside part of the plate for a single and a double respectfully.
