I'm dying to know how much she was getting paid.

Re: Kim Jones no longer on the YES network
I'd love to have Erin Andrews.
Oh and they should get somebody hot for YES Network too.
Bazinga!

Re: Kim Jones no longer on the YES network
Too bad. She really grew on me . She was more than just a talking head and had a good amiable personality and overall good on-camera presence, while also seeming part of the Yankee family. Plus, she started to ask tougher questions than the softballs she threw up there when she first started. Last year I got to meet her and she's just as nice off camera as she is on. I wish her all the best.

Re: Kim Jones no longer on the YES network
I thought she was doing a fine job, and her work with Francesa was top-notch.
Oh man....

Re: Kim Jones no longer on the YES network
The wrong woman left YES. I wish it was that sorry Nancy Newman. She is absolutely horrible. I wish Kim the best, I think she did well and is very good on WFAN. Francesa should hire her for his show as she makes his program a lot better.

Re: Kim Jones no longer on the YES network
I thought she did a good job and improved and got more comfortable over time. I'd rather have Kim than some good-looking bimbo who doesn't know her stuff. I'm not watching the Yankees to get a boner.

I'll never forget when Randy Johnson poured champagne all over her after they clinched the playoffs in 2005.

Re: Kim Jones no longer on the YES network
My thoughts exactly. I didn't care for her at all when she first started, primarily because of her "how did you feel" questions. But about 6 years ago in Detroit she was waiting to do her spot on the pre-game and was standing near the dugout. I was standing in the stands behind the dugout watching BP and I asked her if she had an update on someones injury (forget now who it was). She said "Oh yeah" and flipped through her notebook and proceeded to give what seemed like her whole pre-game run down. Very cool. I wish her the best too.

Re: Kim Jones no longer on the YES network
I feel the same way-- I met her too and she was super nice. I even sort of got used to her
awful wardrobe as her style.
From reading the Post article, I think she's hoping for a regular gig locally - is she single? If she is, I can imagine wanting a break from the road too...I wish her the best - she's a class act.
I agree on that Nancy Newman - yikes. and she's kind of disturbing to watch...

can we get Hazel Mae??
The real reason why the Yankees keep winning is cause the other team can't stop staring at the damn pinstripes

Hmmmm......
I think they should replace Kim with Suzyn Waldman.
No hear me out.
1) Over a 5 hour (including pre & post game shows) Yankee Broadcast, Kim would get about 20 minutes of air time.
2) Suzyn is very good at reporting.
3) Suzyn is not going to lose the Yankee gig.
4) 20 minutes of Suzyn is much preferable to 4 to 5 hours of Suzyn.I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

Re: Kim Jones no longer on the YES network
She left NESN...and no thanks - she slept with at least two RS players - Yankees don't need the distractions...
Funny thing is she is going on the auction block - where you can win a date with her for charity...some guy commented "I wonder if we'll be bidding against Varitek".

Re: Kim Jones no longer on the YES network
Kim seemed like a sweet person but I don't believe it will be very difficult to replace her contributions to the YES broadcast
