2012 Jesus Montero Performance Thread

This will be the most masochistic thread on this site. I will personally make sure of it.

Re: 2012 Jesus Montero Performance Thread
This thread will just be filled with a bunch of nonsensical "I told you so" posts.
He mashes & people will rub that in others' faces or he struggles & that is rubbed in people's faces.
I predict there to not be no extensive, logical discussion on the topic."All she wanted to do today was Spa and Club" ~ "I like your verbs that are things. I think I'm going to Sandwich while I Sofa here for a while."

Maybe. Either way nobody is going to be right based on the 2012 season.

He's struggled the last two seasons out of the gate in the minors, I expect more of the same.

Re: 2012 Jesus Montero Performance Thread
I'm saying right here and now that this trade will work out for the benefit of the Yanees regardless of how Montero does. We needed a SP way more than a DH. I'm sorry but the Yankees clobber the ball enough and there is always hitting available. premium starting pitching is hard to come by and this trade is awesome.
If Pineda fails I promise to come back and eat my serving of crow. But I LOVE the trade.NYYFans Fantasy Baseball

That's a fact with just about every baseball thread on this forum though. Which would render every thread useless.

Re: 2012 Jesus Montero Performance Thread
Not exactly. During the Great Jeter Debate of '11, there was logical reasoning for why people thought Jeter was on a severe decline. Just using him as an example.
There's a difference between an illogical argument & one where people just agree to disagree. ITL can get insane but there's more logical arguments about various topics then there isn't going on in those threads."All she wanted to do today was Spa and Club" ~ "I like your verbs that are things. I think I'm going to Sandwich while I Sofa here for a while."
