Re: 2012 Hiroki Kuroda performance thread
On pace for 200IPs and about 115ERA+.
Those are really good No. 2, borderline No. 1 type of numbers.

Dude was nasty tonight.
David Ortiz tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in 2003.

6.0 IP, 2ER with 8K against a good offense and no posts? Not one?

Re: 2012 Hiroki Kuroda performance thread
I think the big difference between now and the beginning of the season is his ability to pitch his way out of situations with men on base. He got into some jams tonight and had a somewhat elevated pitch count, but he was able to turn in 6 solid innings and only got burnt by the 2 run HR. He's quietly become a very dependable part of the rotation.

Re: 2012 Hiroki Kuroda performance thread
He really walked the tightrope a few times, but he didn't fall off. Maybe the rain effected his grip on the ball a little. He performed surgery out there last night and it was fun to watch. You just had the feeling he was going to make Atlanta beat him instead of beating himself.

Re: 2012 Hiroki Kuroda performance thread
Your opinion isn't being compared to my opinion, it's being measured against Kuroda's performances and right now he has a 124 ERA+.
