Fantasy Baseball General Discussion 2012
Damn time to start thinking about the draft.
Pujols consensus #1 this year in redraft leagues?
How soon does Tulo go off the board?
When does Darvish get drafted?
Halladay still the first picther taken?
Who has the best bounce back year?
As long as the Giants are alive in the NFL playoffs I'm having a hard time getting back in to the baseball draft mode but I'm sure I'll be in full swing before too long.Baseball is life;

1. In a standard league, yes Pujols should be #1.
2. Tulo is easily Top 20, but some are bigger fans of him than me.
3. Darvish should/will be drafted in the same tier as guys like James Shields, Yovani Gallardo, Zack Greinke types....the lower ranked #1 pitchers.
4. I like Clayton Kershaw as the #1 pitcher this year, but that's just me.
5. JASON HEYWARD, believe in this kid folks.Last edited by The FUTURE; 01-05-12 at 12:55 PM.

Going with my gut & saying that Adam Dunn is going to have a big rebound year. Guarantee that he can be had at a very low pick this year.

Is David Freese for real? I have an option to keep him late in the 20team league here. I'm just not sure about relying on him as my #1 3B if one drops to me.

I think the big question going into drafts this year is what do you do about Ryan Braun? I say you grab him around the time Hamilton and Cruz go as you can count on all of them to play about the same number of games.

Re: Fantasy Baseball General Discussion 2012
I think he is certainly an ace, I would say Weaver goes in round 3-4ish. But pitching is SOOOO deep this year.

I had Kershaw as elite going into the drafts last year and I just recall a message from one of you guys saying Matusz would have a better season. It had to be either you or Dash.

Re: Fantasy Baseball General Discussion 2012
I am in a keeper league - we get to keep one player from each of these brackets of where we drafted them - 1-5th rounds, 6-10th rounds, 11-15th rounds and then 2 from 16 till the end.
I finished in 3rd place so I will have my first pick in the bottom half of the first round, so it looks like it would make sense for me to keep Pujols in that bracket. In the next bracket I am keeping Stanton in round 7. The following bracket I think I will keep Ricky Romero in round 13. In the final bracket I will keep Pineda in 21 and Madson in 24.
