Re: marlins aesthetics
I kind of like everything they've done (except for the song, it's horrendous). They're not the Yankees or the Cubs and they're not pretending to be. And even if I wanted to look down my nose at the re-branded Marlins...well, the Yankees employ 'Cotton Eyed Joey'.

Oh, you're not the only one. It's been pretty much universally panned by anyone who doesn't work for the Florida Marlins. I'm convinced they wanted every design element of the stadium to be an over the top eye sore just for the attention and free publicity ... kind of like the University of Oregon with their football uniforms.
David Ortiz tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in 2003.

Looks like they are changing that. Used to be the last Metro-Rail train out of that stop was 9:40ish, which doesnt work well for sporting events. My brother once learned that valuable lesson many years ago leaving a Miami Heat game at the old Miami Arena with no way home.

Re: marlins aesthetics
At this point, I'd say Marlins Park is basically the Stephen Segal of baseball stadiums. It has reached the point of being so awful that it's awesome.

Welcome to NYYFans, the place where Yankees fans come together to complain about the manner in which our team is winning games.
