Re: marlins aesthetics
I didn't realize how far out that homerun thing stood.
I'm guessing the Marlins center fielder is going to feel that wall a lot.27 World Championships

Re: marlins aesthetics
It is utterly mind-boggling how this thing was ever even conceived, let alone approved, funded, sketched, and built.
Seriously, how many layers of approval did this have to get through... how did no one realize how hideous it would be?Ah, dammit! I want pancakes! God, do you people understand every language except English? Yo quiero pancakes. Donnez moi pancakes. Click click, bloody click pancakes!

I've done a complete 180 on this thing. I'm SO in on it.
It's totally the flamboyance and excess of Miami. I'm loving it.Mo' Nut: One Smoove Brotha.

Re: marlins aesthetics
I am flying to Florida for opening day so I can be the first person to ride one of those damn marlins.
EDIT - hold up, just calculated the odds of any Marlin hitting a homerun on opening day are <10%. Maybe I'll go to game 5 and be the first person to hitch a ride on a marlin.
