Out of the whole cast (counting when Dale and Shane were alive), if I were to be able to pair up with one person to increase my chance of survival and every day living, it would be Daryl. (Although, I wouldn't mind if he'd lose that zombie necklace....)

Same here. If I were in that world Daryl and I would be BFFs.

For the group's sake I am glad that Shane is gone. However I do have to give him props..... as aggravating as he was he was an amazing character and the show needed him. I'm gonna miss Shane.

Also, what about all those people in the cars on the highway?

I've been asking that question since season 1. It's bothering the hell out of me. I just have to assume starvation or something. But either way, everyone is a Walker and no one should be in any cars unless they had a head shot. It's a plot hole in my opinion.

You know, it kind of doesn't make sense now about Andrea's sister turning into a walker after being bitten, unless it was because she had died from the bite.

I think getting bit by a walker kills you, but you can turn into a walker regardless of how you die.

Yeah a bite will definitely kill you. Remember the dude they left by the tree in season 1? I don't recall his name.

A bite will kill you and you will turn eventually. If you die you still turn. Death is what turns you into a zombie but the bites sort of speed sh*t up.

Going back to when Rick met Morgan and his son in the first or second episode. Once you get bit you get a fever, the fever burns you out and kills you then you reanimate. Like Morgans wife, the guy they left by the tree.

The finale brought me back; I had stopped watching the stalled on the farm crud. I was completely uninterested in the story, the characters and the entire bloody show. After hearing the hype for last night's show I watched and I'm back to being excited for season 3. I really hope they don't eff it up. Oh and if Lori somehow got lost in the woods the show would greatly improve. Come on writers, not really sure what they're trying to do with her character, but all they're doing now is making her reviled.

I assume Lori was so upset at Rick because Carl shot Shane. That's the only possible reason, but still she should understand by now that Carl shot a 'walker', not Shane.

I absolutely hate her character. She needs to be killed off as soon as possible next season.

Actually if anything T Bone needs to either be offed or do something. As annoying as Lori may be at least she has a part. I forget T Dog is even a character until he has a line. Or Rick tells him to go do something.

Okay, well, no more speculation coming from me from now on. My curiosity got the best of me. I just blew through the first 8 books of the comics. Holy crap. I am even more pumped for next season than I was Sunday night. I believe they are up to vol 16. Guess I have some shopping to do tomorrow.

I got The Compendium Vol 1 for Xmas. It had the first 8 books in it.

I just took a look at the B&N website. 9 & 10 are listed at $10 each. I may grab them.

I'm gonna order the Compendium today. I think it's about 1/2 of the total story so far. I have the Comixology app on my ipad and they had a sale last week for 50% off volumes which I think are about 10 comics each.

I really liked the finale and look forward to where it goes from here. I really have no idea what they're doing with Lori because I don't think they set out to write the most unlikable character on TV, but that's what they've got. I guess AMC stipulates the main character's wife be horrible.

As for the traffic jam bodies I read elsewhere that Mazzera said if you go back and watch the premiere episode you'll notice they all have some head trauma so that's why they didn't turn. If someone has it on the DVR feel free to prove it wrong. It won't be me.

Yes, you should. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying each book, that's for sure. You don;t get all the fancy artwork and covers and alternate covers and extras but it is the entire story. Well worth it. I blew through it in under 6 hours. Which is another reason to go the cheap route. If you spent $100 on the books for 6 hours of reading.... what a waste.

And to be honest, even though there are 8 more volumes, where the compendium leaves off is a damn good spot to leave off. So many directions to go, however you have a bit of satisfaction and closure on a lot of stuff.

I really don't understand the problem people have with Carl. He's a kid in a zombie apocalypse. His dad is constantly risking his life, everyone he knows dies, Sophia probably being the hardest of all. Give the kid a break, man. It's Lori that sucks the worst. She is an adult who needs to adapt and quit the drama.

I saw the Compendium is the first 8 volumes and is $35 on Amazon right now. I wish they sold it digitally because reading 1000 page comic on the ipad would be much more user friendly, but I'm not buying the volumes for $10 each even though those are available on itunes/comix app.

Oh man... well $35 is a damn good deal on it though. I would definitely jump on that.
