Yankees Sweeping A 4 Game Series Without Walking A Batter
Before the White Sox series that just ended, when was the last time (if ever) the Yankees swept a series of 4 (or more) games and didn't walk any batters in the series?

Re: Yankees Sweeping A 4 Game Series Without Walking A Batter
http://yankees.lhblogs.com/2011/08/0...es-at-red-sox/ says:
"DON’T WALK THIS WAY: The Yankees pitching staff did not walk a batter in their four-game series at U.S. Cellular Field. According to Elias, the Yankees became the third team in the Modern Era (since 1900) to not issue a walk while sweeping a four-game series. Boston did it twice, once as the Americans in 1905 and once as the Red Sox in 1968."
So it was the first time the Yankees did it.

You really need a job as a baseball historian somewhere, Evan J.

I know little about baseball before my first memories in 1993.
