You may want to look up Beck's last start against Buffalo. Neither are a good play, but Tebow is better. Beck is without his best RB, best WR, and Cooley (Davis is the better TE there though).

I'm just worried about Detroit's line dominating him. There's no contest between the two talent-wise, but with the squad's they're facing, it could be interesting.

How on earth is anyone debating whether or not to start Tebow over a guy like Beck in fantasy?

Tebow is an easy, every week starter in even a 10 team league. He's been a fantasy monster in all of his starts.

Because Beck put up almost 300 yards last week and the same amount of points as Tebow and he's playing against a terrible, terrible pass D, while Tebow is playing against a solid Detroit line.

In just six quarters of work so far in 2011, Tebow has already given fantasy owners an impressive 37 fantasy points (ESPN standard scoring) even though he has only thrown for 240 yards during that time. Where he makes his money is on the ground, as he has already rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown. He even added a last-second two-point conversion which forced overtime at the end of this past Sunday’s win in Miami.

The beauty of having a quarterback like Tebow is that he doesn’t need to have a monster passing day to make you look like a genius for making him your starting quarterback. He moves the ball so effectively on the ground that his passing stats can be subpar and he’ll still come up with a solid fantasy day.

He has only started in four games as a professional, but has been an elite fantasy quarterback in every one of them. He’s only averaging a meager 203 passing yards per start, but his rushing average of 65 yards per game turns an quickly eight-point yardage day into a 14-point yardage day.

Better yet, Tebow has already shown that he is not only going to be involved in moving the ball on the ground between the 20s, but he is also primed to be the team’s goal-line back.

Even before he became the team’s full-time starter at the end of 2010, Tebow had already scored three rushing touchdowns in previous games when he was brought in purely as a goal-line back. There might be a new coaching staff this year, but judging by the play-call on the two-point conversion at the end of the game, it’s still the Tebow Show until otherwise noted.

Haters don’t want to believe it, but it’s very realistic that Tebow is going to be a top-10 or even a top-five fantasy quarterback almost every week from here on out. Just do the math. Even if we temper our expectations by going lower than his weekly average as a starter, Tebow is still a fantasy stud.

This sums up everything that is wrong with Fantasy Football for me. Tebow looks like me out there (except he can run a bit) - he's confused, throws slowly, has a weak arm.

Well, if you can predict that type of performance, than it's not really a problem because it's not a surprise. In his short time in the NFL, Tebow has shown a great ability to put up, at the very minimum, solid fantasy totals each week.

If his terrible on field performance was somehow translating into accolades (league awards, All-Pro selections, etc) then I'd be pretty annoyed.

I give all the credits to Fox. It takes lots of guts to adopt 40s offense. Without him, Tebow wouldn't find his place.
