Ok, what is with the zebras being ridiculously blind/stupid in big spots this weekend? Do they need another ref on the field? There are a lot of plays that are not getting calls, then some that are shouldn't be. I get human error, but human stupidity is uncalled for.

I have a feeling the refs are allowing a certain amount of holding to protect the QBs because of the new emphasis on preventing concussions. They were practically disrobing the rushing linemen the past few weeks and I'm not sure how long it's going to last.
In the past, officials have adjusted how they decide what is and isn't a penalty after a few games when they have enough feedback. I expect to see that this week with more calls on both sides of the ball.

The Bills at -3 against the Bengals would be my pick; they'll take them by a touchdown. Vegas isn't convinced.

Well worth the risk of bringing Curry in.

The NFL perplexes me when these types of busts happen - how is it possible that Curry could be SO bad after just a couple of years that he's basically worthless? I understand when QBs bust, and while linebacking certainly requires intelligence, there are plenty of dumb linebackers who are at least league average.

How is it that Curry failed so miserably? It doesn't even seem plausible based on what the reports on him were out of college.
